What is Gmail?

According to Wikipedia, Gmail is a free email service provided by Google. As of 2019, it had 1.5 billion active users worldwide. A user typically accesses Gmail in a web browser or the official mobile app. 

The full form of Gmail is Google mail. We can use it send email to any person instantly.


What are Gmail's features?


Gmail gained popularity due its minimalistic user interface. It also incorporate a search bar which helps user to find any particular email/messages. Moreover messages can be filtered using tabs that automatically sort emails into categories like Primary, Social, Promotions etc. In addition to this Gmail also allows it users to chat with other Gmail users in real time, as well as on Video calls. 


The storage capacity, 15 GB, is comparatively larger than any other free e-mail services. You can also send docs, images etc using Attach option in Gmail. It also allows you to hyperlink any text, format the text while composing an email. It automatically sends the unsolicited or malicious emails in Spam category.


Is Gmail safe to use?
